Acceptable Use Policy
This policy defines how the MELUAURE network may and may not be used. It exists to protect our users, our infrastructure, and the wider internet. It applies to everyone who uses the service, and it forms part of our Terms of Service.

MELUAURE is built for lawful, legitimate work. Common permitted uses include:

Prohibited activity
You must not use the service to carry out or facilitate any of the following:
- Any activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction you are reaching.
- Accessing, distributing, or producing child sexual abuse material, which we report without exception.
- Intrusion, credential stuffing, denial-of-service attacks, malware distribution, or other attacks on systems you do not own or have permission to test.
- Fraud, phishing, identity theft, or the sale of stolen data or credentials.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or evading anti-abuse systems for the purpose of harassment.
- Infringing intellectual property or breaching the terms of a service where doing so is unlawful.
- Interfering with, overloading, or attempting to de-anonymise the MELUAURE network or its users.
Respect for target systems
Even where data collection is lawful, you must use reasonable request rates, honour applicable access rules, and avoid disrupting the systems you reach. The network is a shared resource, and abusive patterns harm every user on it.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your use, and any use by people you allow to access your account, complies with this policy and with all applicable laws. Not knowing the rules of a target system or jurisdiction is not a defence.
Enforcement
We investigate credible reports of abuse. Depending on severity, we may warn you, rate-limit or suspend your account, terminate the service, and, where the law requires, cooperate with authorities as set out in our Abuse Reporting and Law Enforcement Requests Policy. We aim to act proportionately, but we will act decisively against serious harm.
